Pena Palace: The greatest example of roman c architecture in Portugal, built in the 19th century, at a high of 500 meters (1640 ). Visit.

Sintra: Village’s historical centre, world heritage site by UNESCO since 1995. Free me to walk trough the medieval streets of the fairy tale’s village, and to taste the tradi onal sweets of the region.

Cascais: Fishing harbour and tourist centre, former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family. Stop.

Estoril: View of the casino and its gardens. Return to Lisbon.

Cape Roca: Westernmost point in con nental Europe. Stop. (From the 31st October to the 1st March replaced by stop at Boca do Inferno).

Cascais: Fishing harbour and tourist centre, former summer residence of the Portuguese royal family. Stop.

Estoril: View of the casino and its gardens. Return to Lisbon.

FÁTIMA SANTUÁRIO
(Half Day Tour)

Fatima place of faith and pilgrimage

Leaving Lisboa at 9 o’clock in the morning, towards the Shrine of Fatima apparition sit of our Lady to the three shepherd children.

We visit the Chapel of the Apparisons Basilica with the tombs of Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco.

Visit new Church of Santíssima Trindade. Time to attend mass (11 am), return to Lisbon.

  • This circuit will take place from April to October, tuesday to Saturday. Does not take place on 13 each month. Departure 9 am – Campo Grande 30B

ÓBIDOS, NAZARÉ & FÁTIMA
(Full Day Tour)

Óbidos: Fortified village of whitewashed houses and narrow streets in a medieval atmosphere. Nazaré: One of the most picturesque Portuguese fishing villages. Free time.

Batalha: Monastery of the 14th century masterpiece of Portuguese gothic architecture. World heritage. Visit of the church.

Fátima: Worldwide famous religious centre and pilgrimage place where Our Lady appeared in 1917. Lunch

Sanctuary: Free time to visit the Shrine and to a end mass. Aljustrel: Visit of the houses of Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta. Return to Lisbon.

LISBON MONUMENTAL + SINTRA, CASCAIS
(Full Day Tour)

Belém Tower and Monument to the Discoveries. Stop.

Jerónimos Monastery – visit of the church. Coach Museum – visit (both closed on Mondays, replaced by Ajuda National Palace). Alfama – walk.

Panoramic through Comercio Square, Downtown, Rossio Square, Liberty Avenue and Campo Grande.

Free time for lunch (not included)

National Palace – visit.

OPORTO
(Full Day Tour)

Transfer from the Hotel to the railway station Oriente to catch the train Alfa Pendular (2nd Class), departing at 10:09 am and arriving in Oporto ́s railway station - Campanhã at 12:44 pm.

Free time for lunch.

Pick-up at 2 pm in Campanhã to do the visit of Oporto, capital city of northern Portugal with Port tasting in one of the wine cellars of the city.

At the end of the visit, transfer to Campanhã ́s station to return to Lisbon on the Alfa Pendular train at 6:47 pm to Lisbon’s sta on Santa Apolónia at 9:30 pm.

Christmas in Lisboa

We’ll also be opening the Archive Room at Paços do Concelho for a piano recital, where masterpieces of European classical music by composers such as Bach and Chopin will be performed. The Ismaili Centre will be the venue for a concert inspired by the Mediterranean musical tradition and we’ll be returning to Lisbon Airport to welcome travellers with a gospel performance that promises to lift the spirits.

In December, music will be the map guiding us in search of different places and times, but there’ll be much more on offer besides: Museu de Lisboa will be opening its doors to youngsters and there’ll also be multicultural experiences, reflecting the many communities which make up the city and are joining in with this moment of spiritual celebration.

Honestly, this is an exhibition dedicated to the magical universe of Harry Potter films that has already visited almost 20 cities, including Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo, and which is now arriving in the Portuguese capital.

The exhibition features settings inspired by the film series, including the Gryffindor common room and dormitory, classrooms like Potions and Herbology, and the Hidden Forest, which are filled with thousands of authentic props, costumes and magical creatures.

Pop Art Stars

The “Pop Art Stars” will shine at the Cordoaria Nacional, which opens its doors to an exhibition bringing together some of the most important names of this art movement that emerged in the United Kingdom during the 1950s.

A total of 122 items will be on display, including works by four of the movement’s most iconic artists: Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg and Roy Lichtenstein.

Until 2020, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am to 8pm, Cordoaria Nacional, Av. da Índia (tram: 15 | buses: 727, 728, 732).
